SPACE HULK - 4 Player Game

Ruleset: Space Hulk

This was a 4 player game, 3 Space Marine players, and one Horror player.

The map was something I made up, and it was the first game we have played of Space Hulk were we didn't use an official scenario.

Well, the Space Marines got slaughtered. Not one of the players the first two games made it a third of the way to the objective. We cut down the blips showing up in half, which made things closer, but still was a slaughter.

Before the game we did talk about how this was going to be a test run to see how the map played and to keep in mind how to keep the game balanced. We did play the heck out of the game that night and had much discussion about how to balance it.

There is talk about running this game at conventions.

And this is a pretty good shot of the nights typical ending for the Space Marines.

CHECK YOUR SIX

Ruleset: Check Your Six

Our second game of Check Your Six. We had six players. 6 Japanese Oscars jump 6 P-40 Tomahawks.

It went bad for the Japanese right away and never got better. The Oscars are just not much of a match for the Tomahawks firepower. The Oscars have one light and one heavy machinegun. A Tomahawk has 6 heavy machineguns.

The skill of the pilots were about the same on each side. This was a poorly balanced scenario.  The Japanese would need quite a bit of help to balance this one.
